Spanning three states, Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu, is an ancient primary rainforest called Taman Negara. This 130 million years old national treasure has developed into a renowned ecotourism destination and sanctuary to hundreds of species of birds, butterflies, insects, fish and plants. Although difficult to sight, animals such as mouse deer, barking deer, wild ox, numerous species of monkey, tapir, elephant, leopard and, tiger have all been recorded. There is a good network of nature trails, making it possible for tourists to explore the jungle and enjoy the biodiversity of the park. Fishing, bird watching, a walk through the canopy, swimming in clear pools and, whitewater rafting are also popular activities here.

We are pleased to share with you that our founder, Mr. Anthony Wong was one of the pioneers who helped put Taman Negara on the list of one of the top destinations to visit in Malaysia. In 1975, Asian Overland Tours & Travel was one of the very first travel companies in Malaysia to promote Taman Negara to overseas visitors.

Our standard Jungle Experience package is for either two or three nights.
